I translated this book in 2015 for Persian-speaking teenagers in Iran. I believe that due to various social and political reasons, these teenagers are unable to access high quality psychological services.
What is ADHD?
ADHD, or Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects both children and adults. It is characterized by persistent patterns of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity that can interfere with daily functioning and social interactions. Individuals with ADHD may struggle with focusing on tasks, organizing activities, and maintaining attention for extended periods. They may also exhibit impulsive behaviors, have difficulty waiting their turn, and struggle with self-control. ADHD is believed to be caused by a combination of genetic, environmental, and neurological factors. FInally, it is nice you know tht It is commonly treated with a combination of medication, therapy, and lifestyle adjustments to help manage symptoms and improve quality of life.
